There are almost infinite varieties of lifestyle, and far be it for me to tell YOU how to live. Don’t let anyone tell you how to live, so long as you’re living a moral life (which you know in your heart and soul are moral). That’s important for the spirit (shen) and Qi-energy.
But there are, perhaps, a few good tips and tidbits of the medicine you might consider:
- Get adequate sleep and rest; rest might be the more important of these, and after all we talked about becoming an OWNER of your health!
- Don’t party too hard
- Eat moderately, and in gaps
- Eat soft and cooked foods, more than raw or cold
- Eat a diversity of colors, flavors, and odors
- Get adequate exercise, but not overdoing it
- Hydrate daily and properly.
- Don’t over hydrate – you’ll drain the Kidneys
- Don’t over exert the willpower
- Don’t rest too long
- Take frequent breaks and even disturb your patterns
- Follow the patterns of the Universe and seasons of Nature
- Don’t let people “get their hooks into you”
- Have healthy Boundaries
- Be kind, and as much as possible, be at peace with others, rather than conflict and war.
- Stay in a creative space
- Be aware.
- Seek harmony, wholesomeness, and balance
- Practice Yang Sheng
