Getting out with the kids Saturday to Red River Gorge, I was re-reminded how important it is to hike. It gets you in sync with nature, with your wood, water, and earth elements, and it gives you cardiovascular exercise. Also, the views can be quite nice.
If you are finding yourself cooped up in your house, due to COVID, too much, consider hiking. If you don’t know where to go, or you’re tired of the same old places, consider the Hidden Destinations KY map @ www.hiddendestinationsky.com
You and nature coming together is good for your health, your Qi and jing-essence, your shen-spirit, and it’s probably good for your home, as well. It can ease tensions, and bring freshness. As the saying goes, “absence makes the heart grow fonder.”
Well then let it grow fond. Let it flow. Get into that original Yuan Qi of Kentucky, and get your legs pumping. It’ll help you in your old age, or in your current situation, to reduce a sedentary lifestyle!
There’s not a lot of downside. Maybe bugs. But right now those are no issue at all.
